Hello. I tried to post this comment a few moments ago and it didn't seem to work. However, it now gets posted twice on your blog, this is a mistake and I do apologise! . . .
I have written a children’s adventure story called THE BRICKS IN THE CAVE and will be posting a chapter a day on my blog http://bricksinthecave.blogspot.com/ from 10th September. I think people who like The Famous Five books will enjoy ‘THE BRICKS IN THE CAVE’ too - which is why I’m letting you know about it. I’m also wondering if you would help me solve a puzzle. Looking at the profiles of fellow bloggers who say The Famous Five is one of their favourite books, by far the largest proportion live in India, Singapore or Malaysia. Why? Would you be able to explain? I would also be very interested to know if my story appeals there in the same way. Like The Famous Five it is set in Dorset (where I live) - but a few miles further west along the coast. Also it is set in the now, not the 1950s! I would be really grateful if you were to take a look at it and offer your opinion. You can reply either by leaving a comment on the blog itself or by emailing me at bricksinthecave@googlemail.com Yours sincerely Susan Harwood http://bricksinthecave.blogspot.com/
