Surely goodness and love

O Lord,
Teach me your paths;
Guide me in your truth
and teach me, for you

His love, at night his song

You hold me by my right
Hand. You guide me with
Your counsel, and afterward
You will take me into glory.

Our strength;
Shout aloud to the God

play the melodious harp
and lyre.

Let us rejoice and be glad
in it.

Hiding Your Word

I have hidden your word
in my heart that I might not
sin against you. Praise be
to you, o Lord; teach me
Your decrees.

He Watches Over You

The Lord watches over you –
The Lord is your shade at
your right hand; the sun
will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

How would you know...

If you never felt pain, Then how would you know that I am a Healer?

If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?

If you never had a trial, How could you call yourself an overcomer?

If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?

If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?

If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions?

If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue

If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?

If you never had a problem,How would you know that I can solve them?

If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through?

If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure?

If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them?

If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you?

If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?

If your life was perfect, Then what would you need me for?

With Love,
JESUS CHRIST

Redang with Happy Memories of Jemimah

Seng Chor, Jordan and I will be joining Seng Chor's friends to Redang tomorrow, 1 May 2009. Exactly one year ago, I was there - with Jemimah in my womb. We went diving, snorkelling and swimming together. Af first, I was not looking forward to this trip at all. There will be many memories of her and it will be painful. I was feeling bad for the past few days - cried on and off, at work and home. This morning, I decided to take the happy memories of her with me. I will still be emotional but at least the memories would be special. It will be good to spend time with Jordan as well. He will definitely enjoy himself.

Happy Labour Day to all - whether you are working at home (especially, the Mums) or in the office!

Painting and Roof Fixing (Day 7) - Last Day

Last Day - Monday, 27 April 2009

Final touch-up.

Before they fixed the roof last Monday, the air-conditioning compressor and the Astro had to be taken down. The compressor was put up last Saturday, and the paint was touched up on Monday. The Astro will be re-installed today. So, poor Jordan couldn't watch Astro for about 2 weeks. He misses his Animal Mechanicals show. And my poor brother Alex couldn't watch his football matches as well.

Painting and Roof Fixing (Day 6)

(Saturday, 25 April 2009.)

Painting completed.

I was really happy with the blue paint but the finishing paint of the gate and grilles saddens me. We agreed on the blue colour but the supposedly 'brown' colour was chosen by Seng Chor without consulting us. He said that it was brown on the catalogue but it turned to be REDdish brown. We are extremely disappointed. My sister commented cynically - "Our house now looks like a Chinese Temple." Visitors will definitely never miss our house - it's the brightest in the row.
Urgh!

The new light chosen by Seng Chor is a consolation.
(By the way, red happens to be Seng Chor's favourite colour.)

Allergic to Amoxicillin

After taking the medication for my fever and throat infection for 2 days, I developed blisters and rashes (non-itchy) on my fingers and soles. I checked with my cousin who is a doctor and she suspected it was caused by a type of penicilin called Amoxicillin prescribed by my doctor. I was also feeling nauseu and dizzy for about 4 days. I went back to see the doctor yesterday. It is confirmed that the blisters and rashes are caused by Amoxicillin. From my past medical records, she found out that I have been prescribed the same medication before but I didn't react to it. It was odd. Anyway, I don't need to take the Amoxicillin anymore. She gave me medicine for the allergy instead. The photos below were taken today. The blisters are drying up, and there's no more pain.
