Movie night = No-Jordan Night

Last Wednesday, 21 March 2007, Seng Chor and 10 others watched the movie “300” at Cathay Cineleisure, The Curve. Jordan spent the night with the babysitter. This is the second time we left him at the babysitter to watch movie. Hee! Hee! So far, no sign of him misses us at night. He slept well – from 10 pm until almost 11 am the next day!

Seng Chor and I had dinner at a Kopitiam in Cineleisure. Both of us had Assam Laksa. Spicy but tasty. After dinner, we just walked around in The Curve.

9:30 pm – Movie time.
It was a bloody movie. I have not seen so much blood in a movie before. At the end of the movie, we realized that the cinema has red carpet and seats in red as well. It looked as if the blood from the movie has splashed the whole cinema! The movie has an interesting plot but just too much bloodshed. The Spartans’ army formation was cool - one protects, and the other attacks and kills.

"Based on the epic graphic novel by Frank Miller, 300 is a ferocious retelling of the ancient Battle of Thermopylae in which King Leonidas and 300 Spartans fought to the death against Xerxes and his massive Persian army. Facing insurmountable odds, their valor and sacrifice inspire all of Greece to unite."

You can read about the entire movie’s plot here. . Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details included.
