In our last trip to Penang, we had the opportunity to visit Seng Chor's Dad's paper cup factory. Through the photos, I will share with you the paper cup making process...

Same machine as previous one. The cup goes into a vacuum tube and comes out on the right for packaging. Different machines mold different type of cups. That day, there were about 4 cup-making machines operating. Each machine was operated by one person. It was a Sunday, and the factory is open 24 hours a day, all year round.
Oh, they don't just deal with cups. They produce paper plates, ice cream cup, coaster and serviettes too. Of course, with different machines.
The final process is packaging, which is done manually.
